i want to learn how to dance latin dances such as cha-cha-cha, salsa, merengue, etc. i’m eighteen, though, and i can’t afford anything too expensive, committed, or formal since i’ll be working and really just want to have fun. my zip code is 30040. i’ve been trying to use google to find something good but nothing good is coming up.
oh, and if there’s nothing good in my area, i’m interested in learning ballroom or swing dancing. basically, as long as it’s beginner, informal, and inexpensive, i’m in.

I’m looking for someone willing to coach me in ballroom dancing. It has been my primary interest to take dancing to a professional level but money is a hindrance. I have learnt funk and hiphop in a studio for about a year. Based on comments I’ve had, I’m confident I can excel in this lane. I’m afraid the only gratitude I can show is through exchange of knowledge. I’m a student at the moment (age 22) but was a webmaster and graphic designer and it would be my pleasure to share what I’ve learnt in my trade. Location wise, I’m in melbourne victoria. I believe the teacher training programme is free-of-charge? Do you need an extensive dancing background to be selected for the programme?

Go to your local Arthur Murray and apply for their teacher training program. I completed my one year contract and I am now a very good dancer whereas before I was able to follow and knew a few "shine" moves in salsa.
